Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We are always on the go in my second-grade classroom and learning never stops! My students are seven and eight years old with diverse academic levels and social-emotional needs. My students work hard and strive to do their best. They are creative, eager, and energetic. They are smart and multicultural. They are filled with wonderful potential. Their eagerness and desire to learn are so exciting.
My students thrive in positive, supportive learning environments.
We work hard to create a community of learners where everyone feels welcomed, safe, and willing to take chances with their learning.
I work in a Title I, public school as a second-grade teacher. Nearly eighty percent of our students qualify to receive free or reduced-price lunch, and approximately forty percent of the students in our school are classified as English Language Learners (ELLs).
My Project
Teachers Pay Teachers is a great tool for finding new, exciting ways to teach students. All materials are written and developed by teachers for teachers. I am requesting Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards to help purchase grade level resources and activities for my students. The resources available on Teachers Pay Teachers are subject-based, grade-level appropriate, current, relevant, and engaging for students.
