This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach a truly dynamic and hardworking group of 76 middle school students ranging in age from 12 to 15. I am preparing my students for career interest and education in STEM and other related fields.
My students focus their time on completing virtual, hands-on, and print lab experiments.
As budding scientists, I believe my students are the future leaders and innovators in the field. It is my goal to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and disposition necessary to be successful.
Please help my students achieve their goals of pursuing STEM related educational and career interests.
My Project
The items in this project have been proven to be successful by experienced teachers. In my classroom I have students who learn in a plethora of ways. Many of my students are visual and kinesthetic learners. The resources in this project were selected to meet the needs of all students.
I have asked for resources that will help me design additional curriculum that will be used to differentiate instruction for my exceptional learners.
All of these resources joined together will increase the daily learning that is so important in my classroom to get students on and above grade-level and to students the confidence they need to succeed.
Finally, I am also requesting snacks and paper goods for my students. I regularly have students who either forget to bring lunch or are not able to bring their lunch to school. By providing ramen and bowls I can give my students a snack that will give them the energy they need throughout the day.
