Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students face the challenges of poverty on a daily basis. We are located in the southernmost region of the United States and live in one of the poorest counties in the country. These students, who wake up every morning wanting to learn despite the difficulties that they face at home, are who inspired and motivated me post a project on DonorsChoose.org. I am honored and blessed to serve them and to be part of their lives. This is why reaching out to you is the least I can do to help them improve and be able to reach and experience the same opportunities that others have in our country.
My students manage to always have a smile and care for each other as much as possible every single day.

My Project
Very often I find myself filling my shopping cart on "Teachers Pay Teachers" only to have to leave them there due to lack of personal funds. Students will benefit by interacting with printed manipulatives from this website.
Please help me fulfill this project so I can be able to provide many amazing resources for my students learning from Teachers Pay Teachers such as syllables practice, beginning sounds, ending sounds, rhyming, number subitizing, etc.
Every student no matter their educational learning choice (virtual or in-school) will benefit from these resources. Teachers Pay Teachers has an endless world of fun and engaging activities for them to learn from. I would love to be able to provide these activities for them on a daily basis. This project would reach all the students in my class every day.!
