This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
I have a class of energetic, enthusiastic, and amazing students! Our school is a Title I school where most students come from low-income or poverty-stricken homes or may live in a motel. All of the students receive free lunch. Most are English Language Learners, while some have special needs. These students come to school eager to learn every day with big smiles on their faces, regardless of their circumstances.
I am requesting a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to help purchase student-centered activities that are highly engaging to help keep my students excited about learning.
You can find a wealth of ideas and resources on Teachers Pay Teachers, authored and developed by teachers for teachers.
I am requesting a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to help purchase grade-level resources and activities for my students. Teachers Pay Teachers offers resources that are subject-specific, grade-level-appropriate, current, and relevant. Having access to thousands of resources through Teachers Pay Teachers will greatly help with my planning and help my students as well!
