Teachers Never Stop Learning How to Get Their Teach On!
I need help funding my trip to Get Your Teach On Nationals where expert presenters help me prepare and create dynamic lessons that will challenge my students and leave them hungry for more.
My students are a unique blend of different communities, cultures, and lifestyles. Since our students choose to attend a public charter school, our classes become a diverse family ranging from farmers to athletes and everything in between.
Every student knows that when they walk into my room they are family.
They are my kid from that point on. In my classroom the toughest student has learned that he is able to let down the walls he has previously needed to put up and come out of that hard shell that he thought he needed to protect himself.
I have been blessed with the hardest working students. They amaze me every day. Middle-schoolers are notorious, but mine are exceptional. I strive to be as good as them every day.
My Project
I can't wait to spend four days learning from research based workshops that are designed to specifically guide me in creating engaging and rigorous lessons! I will gain knowledge from training with top educators like Hope and Wade King, as well as other expert presenters as they share their passion and enthusiasm for education. I'm anxious to collaborate with teachers from around the world and bring new engaging strategies right back to my classroom.
My students with thrive under the new found passion and energy that they will feel for learning.
I can not wait to share this celebration for education with them!
