My Students

I am privileged to work with a diverse community of students. In our fifth grade class, we have students from six different countries, who also come from diverse economic and linguistic backgrounds.

My students are amazing humans, and I am blessed to be part of their lives for a small piece of time.

They are inquisitive, thoughtful, and in great need of gaining the skills necessary to be successful in our diverse and changing world. I see it as a challenge to prepare my kids for jobs that do not yet exist.

My Project

For the last year and one half, school has been different. Fifth grade students are certainly resilient and amazing to work with. We have shifted back and forth between in-person and remote learning this year. Creating engaging lessons that are differentiated for all of my learners can take exorbitant amount of time.

By having access to thousands of resources created by teachers through the Teachers Pay Teachers website, I can help engage my students, while balancing time for myself.

I look forward to being able to select projects and lessons without worry of cost.
