My Students

My students come from various backgrounds. They are determined, eager, and excited to learn! They love to read, explore, and learn about diverse cultures and places around the world.

My third graders make up a part of a wonderful school that strives to make every student feel like family.

Regardless of their background and challenges they may face outside of the classroom, my students come to school ready to grow intellectually, as well as grow to become respectable members of their community.

My Project

I am ready to get recharged, re-inspired, re-energized, renewed, and rejuvenated at GET YOUR TEACH ON!! This professional development is unlike any other of its kind. I will get to spend two and a half days with Deanna Jump and Hope King as they share their passion and enthusiasm for education and give me their tips, tricks, best practices, and teacher secrets to building a successful and engaging classroom. I will leave feeling empowered, motivated, and prepared to create dynamic lessons that will challenge my students and leave them hungry for more. I look forward to discovering new ways to make connections, and gain new insight into ways to build relationships among staff, families, and students that will motivate, engage, empower, and transform my school.
