This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are an amazing group of 9 sweet kiddos with diverse learning needs. My life skills students are such an amazing group! They really are intrigued with learning more about the world around them and are working towards learning those functional skills they will need in the future.

My classroom consists of 4 rambunctious boys and five lovely little ladies.

They are the most wonderful and gracious children you will ever meet. They come from various backgrounds and have a wide range of disabilities.

My Project

Hello!

This year I have some of the most sweet and genuinely amazing students.

Their needs are very different from my previous students. They need more one-on-one help to complete tasks in our classroom. Adding another teacher desk will allow them to be able to work in small groups with teachers at every center. This will not only give them the added teacher time they need but will also add supports from myself and my assistants. Adding another group center will allow my students to receive one-on-one IEP time with me and allow them to work in small groups and learn skills like working in partners, sharing, and then taking.
