This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a teacher of amazing teachers and my roles include Tech Fix-It, Tech Motivator, Tech Integrationist, Tech Salesperson, Tech Trainer and jobs that include just plugging in the computer. I really want to get teachers excited about using technology and at the same time offer support that makes a difference from day today.

This is my first year as an Educational Technology Specialist and the most challenging aspect of the job is offering productive support to teachers in my school.

My Project

My love for learning is the center of who I am as a teacher. My first 24 years in education were spent in the ELA 6-8th grade classroom inspiring students to read and write and love literature. This year my role has changed, but the passion for making a difference in education has not!

My role as an educational technology specialist allows me to take what I learn and share it with other educators who then impact hundreds of students with something as simple as a technology collaboration tool.

I'm excited to continue learning using these project tools and then share with other educators.
