I am a second-year preschool teacher and will always have 16 incredible student explorers. My students will spend their school year ready to explore through play and guidance.
My children are four years old and need hands-on experiences in order to understand their world.
All of my babies come from low-income homes and may have more challenges than most other four years olds. No matter what their home lives may be, I vow to provide the best Pre-K experience that I can no matter what that looks like next year!
My Project
This year is unlike any other one. With so much change to how a school year typically runs, teachers have run into being creative to make sure the students have what they need at home but also figuring out how to get those materials with virtually no budget.
It takes cardstock, velcro, lamination sheets, and so much more to be able to ensure that materials are made and durable enough to allow children to interact with each resource time and time again.
With the price of these materials rising, and the budget of the schools decreasing, a ton of added pressure is added on to teachers.
With your help, I can continue to create amazing learning resources to house in their activity boxes each week. I will use these materials to create engaging rhyming, alphabet, and math games that can be used throughout this year and many to come.
