Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My school is located in an urban-suburban community in a large city in Georgia. I teach at an open middle school. We accept students from all over my county. Although we are in the suburbs, we are still a Title I school.

Due to Covid 19 we have been working at home virtually.

I want to make learning equitable for everyone by providing some of the tools they need to succeed.

My Project

I am in need of a way to supply my students with accurate and efficient feedback during this difficult time. The MacBook will provide my students with feedback without delay. The MacBook will allow me to create resources for my students and to continue their learning process. My students need efficient feedback on their virtual learning and the MacBook will help in making it stress-free.

I will be able to interact with my students throughout this pandemic like we are still in class.

The MacBook will provide an engaging and meaningful curriculum for my students. At the same time, the Macbook will allow me to be able to keep up with all my students' needs. The MacBook will be able to open several platforms so that I can monitor all my students' live during their lessons. The Macbook will be transferred to the classroom to continue to enhance my students' education after the pandemic.
