This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students' faces light up with excitement during story time. They enjoy listening to different stories that they can connect with. They are eager to become LONG LIFE READERS.They learn best through fun interactive activities that are differentiated to their needs.

My Project

I am requesting a printer and laminator that I will use to print out worksheets, homework, student work, laminate task cards, and provide students ample opportunities to learn how to read.

Our school does not have the funds needed to purchase a new printer, which affects students' learning since copies of additional resources can't be made.

Students will become actively engaged in hands-on phonological awareness activities during their grade level reading groups in ELA. Students will be provided homework copies in order to reinforce the strategies and practice the strategy they have learned during the day.
