My students need a class set of dry erase whiteboards and markers to stay engaged during math lessons. We also need 30 blank books to create an end of the year Nevada book.
As a teacher, I need to give immediate feedback to each and every student during math. When computing, they can easily show me their answers on a whiteboard and I can immediately give them a thumbs up or down. My students can rework problems immediately.
My 4th graders are energetic kids who love to write with dry erase markers.
They attend a school that encourages whole class participation and 100% engagement. They love to create things with their hands and make projects come to life. Please help my students in Nevada!
My Project
My students will use the dry erase boards every day during math. When learning to do double digit multiplication and long division, a lot of paper is needed. However, with white boards, the possibilities are endless. They can review those skills anytime. They can practice their basic math facts with ease by skip counting and repeating patterns. They will be 100% engaged and focused on all the lessons when it's time to show their work and make computations.
My 4th graders study Nevada history all year. They will be able to create a Nevada book that they have written and published that they can have as a treasured keepsake for years to come.
Please help my 4th graders stay engaged and have fun in math class.
White boards also are Eco-friendly, as no paper is wasted and I can reuse the boards over and over for years to come.
