This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 44 eager learners, Math and Science. They love technology. Every time I use technology, my students are so engaged. They love when I attend a training and return to share all the things I've learned.

I want to make my 21st Century learners the best they can be.

By using technology, I know they will be more attentive. Technology is not something they always have at home. By bringing technology into their lives, I am preparing them for their future. I want them to be the best they can be.

My Project

TCEA is a technology conference with over 1,000 sessions. I have been invited to present 2 sessions. Presenters share best practices for using technology in education. By attending this conference, I can build my technology skills and empower myself to integrate technology into my classroom.

The sessions I attend will give me ideas of ways to engage my students while getting them ready for their future.

While I am attending at presenting at the conference I will need lodging and meals. This will allow me to focus on the knowledge I will get. Since I teach at a Title I school, procuring this funding will allow my principal to use our limited funds for our students.
