Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Everyone loves a tasty treat for their hard work! My classroom project is going to be used as an incentive for attending additional periods of instruction. My students continue to struggle with the effects that online learning, during the pandemic, had on their education. To help address their learning losses and fill in the gaps, my students are asked to attend afterschool and Saturday tutorials. These tutorial sessions are data-based driven and target specific learning standards that students need additional support in.

This project will provide my students with a variety of healthy prepackaged snacks, giving them the fuel and energy needed to be productive during after-school and Saturday tutorials.

Believe it or not, food is a great motivator, so with your support my students will be more than willing to attend these additional instructional opportunities.
