This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
Many students in my classroom come in saying they have difficulty completing practice assignments at home because of a lack of supplies and resources.
Our school is a Title I school, which of course means we need as many supplies as possible.
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the methods and environments in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! My classroom is full of struggling students who are eager to learn through technology.
My Project
Some of my students English is not their first language so a translator device will help so much for everyone to understand each other. Also a webcam will be helpful for distance learning and helping those students see the full classroom while I am teaching.
Tasks cards are a wonderful way to help students fulfill and maximize their academic success.
Plus, students need posters to help them in the classroom to always remember their phonics and word families.
Overall, students need Kleenex to keep their environment clean and sanitize. We always need pencils so they can enough writing utensils in the classroom.
