Task Boxes for Kids With Disabilities

My Students

I teach a class of 10 middle school students who have a range of physical, intellectual, and sensory disabilities. Though these disabilities make learning a little more challenging, I have seen such amazing dedication, determination, and resilience from these awesome kids!

My students are working hard to prepare for high school and life after high school!

My Project

Task boxes are always a good resource for students with disabilities. They provide structure, fine motor activities, and ways to lesson anxiety.

Since the pandemic, anxiety in kids has risen.

Task boxes will not only help to lesson this anxiety, but provide a way for students to practice fine motor skills and deductive reasoning.

By donating to this project, you will be helping my students with disabilities get the resources they deserve to make coming back to school easy. In addition, if students have to go back to remote learning, the color printer will help tremendously in getting our students' materials ready for at-home learning.
