Task Box Library for Students

Help me give my students task boxes with lacing geometrics, giant lacing buttons, counting cubes and other manipulatives to help with self-regulation in the classroom.

My Project

So many of our kids struggle with self regulation and I would like to make a library of task boxes that teachers can borrow and use for their classroom. Research has shown that simple repetitive tasks can help kids calm and focus and these boxes would give kids the ability to sort, match, and use fine motor skills. I am requesting lacing geometrics, giant lacing buttons, counting cubes and other manipulatives to help with self-regulation in the classroom.

The items I am seeking funding for range in variety, but can be used in multiple boxes for multiple purposes.

The types of task boxes I am looking to create will involve sorting/matching by color, shape, and size as well following patterns and fine motor skills. My goal is to make at least 3 dozen boxes with the items requested.

Though I work with special education students, these would be offered to the entire school. The hope is that this library would provide lots of tasks so teachers can regularly try new ones.
