My Students

I'm a first year teacher in a Title I school. I have not met my second graders yet, but I know that we will have an incredible year on our journey together.

I'm so incredibly excited for the upcoming school year and to meet my kiddos for the first time.

My favorite part about teaching is seeing the students reach that, "AHA" moment. I love educating children and want this year to be their most successful school year. I can't wait to get the learning started.

My Project

The half moon table, stools, and chair will be the perfect place for students to come together in small groups to receive some enrichment during their lessons in math, writing, reading, and grammar.

Students learn best in smaller, collaborative groups.

This table will allow my students to reach their fullest learning potential and it will create a safe space for small, group learning.

The stools will allow the students to sit comfortably and allow the students to get up and switch groups quickly. The chair will allow me to slide closer to each part of the table when working with an individual student during the group.
