My students need various art supplies including water color paper, markers, and paint to help create projects that showcase their writing and creativity.
My students become a part of my life the second they walk through the door. They are a bright, active, social, and friendly group of kids who do their best to learn and grow on a daily basis. Being in a low socioeconomic area does have its affects, but my group of kiddos sure know how to work hard and make me smile in the process.
These little ones are the best at making my day better with their hard work, kindness, and sweet little personalities.
They are becoming little leaders, friends, helpers, and thinkers more and more, each and everyday they enter the classroom. I learn so much from them and they make me laugh and provide a light in my life that I cannot get anywhere else. They inspire each other to do better and be happy, even if they don't know it. I want to help them to become the wonderful people I know they can be, which is why I do what I do! These kids make it completely worth it!
My Project
With a group as lively and creative as these third graders, it is not surprising that we love to color and create in class as much as we can. We do an art projects at least once a week to help showcase their individual abilities in writing and art. We are asking for paints, paper, markers, and water color sets to use in class to create some of our own art projects to display and put in a portfolio.My students absolutely love to be creative and they love to use the minimal art supplies we have now. I am hoping to get more supplies to help them love art even more and to be able to enjoy putting their creativity on paper. I love to involve art into the curriculum that I teacher because it creates more interest for the students, and it is something fun to add to our very busy schedule. We will be using these for the rest of this school year and hopefully many more school years to come.
