My students are hard workers. They have long, challenging days, taking demanding arts and academic classes at a competitive performing arts high school. They overcome the challenges they face due to their diagnosed learning disabilities or executive function deficits to excel in their classes.
My students are energetic, bright, and talented students who are mainstreamed in rigorous academic and arts classes.
They receive daily instructional support in the school's Resource Room to help them develop strategies and skills to succeed in these challenging classes, despite their learning disabilities.
My Project
With a printer and ink cartridges in the Resource Room, my students will be able to increase their success in all their classes by allowing them to print assignments they work on there. Having a printer in the Resource Room will make it easier for them to stay on top of their work, and help them stay organized in all their classes.
With their learning disabilities and executive function challenges, my students can struggle keeping up with their rigorous classes.
If they can print assignments in Resource Room, and work on them with the teachers there, they will become more efficient, more organized, and will be set up to succeed in their challenging classes.
