My students need to use notebooks every day to take wonderful notes for their mathematical learning. Using the safety compass they can make perfect circles, and no one gets hurt. Flashcards go in the envelopes.
I teach at a very large high school where my favorite part of the student population is the diversity. Students' family backgrounds range from military, to affluent, to blue collar to even homeless. They are a beautiful melting pot of racial diversity, which allows the students to learn from each other's cultural differences.
All students retain more when they are able to enjoy their learning activities.
My students with ADHD find success through their ability of staying active and motivated.
My Project
My students will use the spiral notebooks to take notes each day. When we do circles they can make perfect circles using the safety compasses.
Scissors will allow students to make Flashcards which is a great study tool, and the envelopes keep them organized in the notebooks.
I'm so excited about the success my students will have when they can use their resources to the best of their ability. I use connections to what the students already know to make sure that what they learn gets retained with significance. Having great resources is how we can focus on the academics.
