This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing! They have a love for math that takes time to cultivate, but combined with a willingness to work hard and succeed, they can go places!. This class is a mix of levels with some students working on basic calculations and others are striving to learn algebra.

I feel like teaching with an excitement for math leads to learners with an excitement for math.

Their excitement for learning shows and I want to give them every opportunity to succeed!

My Project

My students work to their fullest math potential, but sometimes our materials get in the way! Dry, worn out Expo markers, smeared erasers, and stained whiteboards leave us all in a state of distraction. These requested Boogie Board Jot Memo Pads will solve this and keep everyone working!

Boogie Boards will save instructional time and keep our students engaged on the path to learning!

Our campus has not yet caught up to the needs of 21st century learning, but this would be a great start. Taking away the need for a continuous supply of markers and erasers will help ease the supply burden as well as given our students the opportunity to learn about new advances. These boards will allow my kiddos to see that not all situations are stationary, that there is always an opportunity for a solution.
