This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative and enthusiastic. They love to learn about theater and their creativity and dedication allows us to have one of the best drama programs in the area. They are able to achieve things far beyond what would normally be expected of a middle school student.

At our school, we go big!

We have huge interest in drama classes, huge casts in our plays, and huge achievements to go with it all. My students continue to raise the bar and to inspire me in the work we do together.

My Project

Having a TA workstation will make our classroom so much more efficient. That means faster grade turnaround and a more digital classroom. All of my students will benefit from this.

Using costume inventory software on this tablet, we will become a cutting-edge theater program.

We will have the ability to be more organized in our own shows, and it will open the possibility of rentals to raise funds for our program. The software also allows us the opportunity to create a play lending library in our classroom so students can take scripts home. The portability of the tablet will allow us to have a link between the classroom, the theater, and the storage rooms.
