I am a third grade teacher here in Tampa , Florida who is always trying to find new ways to capture the minds of his students. In this day and age you are always struggling to find ways to bring the wow and create a spark that is lasting in the kids minds especially in Science.
My kids are an average group of kids who attend your average school here in Tampa Bay.
They are an eager bunch of kids who are constantly thirsting for more knowledge in all subject. They are eager for excitement when they learn and wish to push their learning to new heights.
My Project
All year I have been talking about the different sizes of different objects in science but it is hard to conceptualize something that you can't see. By being able to use this digital microscope and slides it will allow me to bring science to a level that they have never experienced . Whether it be a boy or a girl that's in my class .. this type of experience could influence them years from now and maybe a few them could become the next great scientist.
Inspiring children is my calling in life ..
and bringing that wow and spark of learning to them is something I yearn to do everyday I step foot into my room .. but in this day age we have to strive to think outside of the box and create memorable experiences that will last for years and years to come .. having these children be able to see things on a different level with the use of the digital microscope could be life altering for them .. and I am thrilled to try and give them that experience.
