My students amaze me every day. They work hard and strive to do their best and make a difference in their lives and others lives. 75% of my students come from low-income families where they are receiving free or reduced lunch. We also have a large number of military families. When you ask a student what is their goal, they always reply it is to graduate from high school and go to college. I strive to find ways to provide my students with every opportunity that will help to prepare them to reach their goals and so much more. It is with the support of donors like yourself, that my students have the ability to go further in school and better themselves. Together we are helping to shape the future leaders, doctors, lawyers and so much more.
My Project
My students are just amazing and work so hard to take their learning to the next level each day. All my students love various types of art, such as drawing, making videos, and even music. We are combining our daily learning in our classroom with these various pathways of art, which allows my students an endless avenue to further their learning and understanding. When my students don't have any preset walls and limits, there is no stopping them. I am requesting Bluetooth speakers and portable chargers for my students who like to incorporate music and videos into their learning. These speakers and chargers will give them the ability to listen and share their projects and the chargers will keep their devices rolling while making videos. For my students who love to incorporate drawing, illustrations, and comics into their learning, I am requesting various sharpie markers, gel pens, and art pencil sets. These resources will give my students an endless ability to reach for the stars while learning. My students don't always have opportunities to use materials like the ones I'm requesting due to limited resources available to them.
