My Students

Hello from the Sunshine state! We are fun-loving, information seeking, creative 2nd graders. We love to learn and explore our world of Reading and build our knowledge and vocabulary. We learn in a Title I school and our teacher does her best to provide rich-learning environments for us. Our teacher is always on the look out for something that will make learning fun and memorable! We hope you are interested in helping us learn and make great use of these exciting learning resources she's picked for us.

My Project

Lakeshore Learning Leveled Books Activity Box provides hands-on activities that my students can do on their own and on their reading level! What's great is that the activities can be used for any book.

Children use whatever book they are reading and then grab a double-sided activity card and follow the 3-step instructions…completing a character tree, going on a suffix search, creating a contraction flip book and more; all the while enhancing their reading skills.

Each reading level has 5 activities to use before, during, or after reading. I love that the cards are both write & wipe and reproducible—for super-convenient classroom use!
