Take What You Need

Help me give my students a safe place to get things they need. I want to stock "take what you need" cubbies with everything from school supplies to snacks for students that don't have access to these things.

My Project

Some of my students struggled through the pandemic with their mental health and access to basic necessities like food and hygiene products. Many of my students depend on school for their meals. My plan is to have these items readily available.

My goal is to give them a safe place to access these needs without judgement.

It can be embarrassing for high school students to ask for what they need.

My hope is to stock my classroom with take as you need cubbies with supplies from pencils and snacks to deodorant and feminine products.
