This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
In my fifth grade ELA classroom, my students do more than learn our reading and writing standards. I work to open my students' eyes, hearts and minds to our diverse world through literature.
I work hard to create magic in our classroom in order to inspire, motivate and empower my learners to be better readers, writers and over all people.
Providing a variety of experiences and offering different learning methods for students is best practice. I want to make sure that I've done everything possible to ensure that my students receive the best opportunities to learn, and have fun while doing it.
My Project
The 2020 Get Your Teach on Conference will provide me with a learning experience that will leave me feeling empowered, motivated, and prepared to create effective lessons. These lessons will challenge my students and increase the rigor all while building a true love for learning in my learners all year long!
I am excited to take our ordinary lessons and create extraordinary learning experiences for my kiddos!
I will learn side by side with educators from all over the world as we are inspired and supported by the best. We are a community that is striving to create classrooms where students truly choose to WANT to learn each and every day!
