This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are twenty first century English-language learners whose learning is very much technological in scope and limited in nature. Their personal barriers to learning include never having the experience or opportunity of seeing a love for reading in their own homes. Such a mindset requires out of the box teaching, visuals, project based learning and high interest resources.

My students have the capacity to learn and willingness to excel.

They desperately need high interest, 21st century resources that will put learning in their grasps.

My Project

My students need a wireless speaker in order to hear teaching clips, discover topics such as history, contemporary issues such pollution, justice, conservation and the biographies of inspirational citizens with all their senses. A speaker will enable them to discover speaches, expert advice and develop their curiosity.

My students are 21st century digital learners that need to hear and see their learning.

With a wireless speaker and a laser pointer, my students will have focused instruction that incorporates multiple senses in their instruction. These resources will help them "get it" in reference to the material being presented in a memorial way.
