My Students

I have the best students ever! Our school is over 50% free and reduced-price lunches and over 50% Hispanic and are so eager to learn and make a major contribution to society. They have so many goals and aspirations that I can't wait to see what they will become in the future. What our students need is to be treated as equals and to have equity in learning. They are going to accomplish so much and are ready to make their lives better.

My Project

Life is all about how systems work together. Playing games is a great way to demonstrate how different objects can work together to form a system. I plan on using the different items that I have selected to teach the students how when objects work together, they can accomplish anything.

I want to teach my students about cooperation, strategy, and being proactive by having them learn how to play different games.

They will have to read the directions and then decide how the game is going to be set up. So many students are eager to learn new things and really like challenges so providing opportunities to do that in an educational setting will be a great experience for them.
