Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Many of the students in my school come from a low-income family. This makes it difficult to get the necessary resources. This will allow them to become better readers and writers which in turn will help them across the curriculum. They enjoy learning through technology. They are so eager to learn as much as possible. Please help me to give them the best education possible! They would be so excited to receive these! It would allow each student to receive an education based on his or her needs.

My Project

The students will be using these during centers to improve skills in Reading, Writing, and Math. By downloading fun apps onto the tablets it will give the students a variety of ways to learn standards during center time! It will help increase student achievement and excitement about learning. Sometimes during centers we do not have enough computers to give every child who needs them between four kindergarten classes. Adding these tablets will allow students who have special needs to have access to technology that is much easier to navigate than a laptop. Also, these students can use styluses to learn how to write better!
