My Students

I am a second grade teacher. I have a classroom full of 25 very energetic students. They love learning and are a very inquisitive group. My students enter the building around 9:05 and the last bell rings at 3:55. This is such a long day for them! Our day is jam packed with very rigorous instruction.

At times learning can be a struggle for some but they all show their GRIT and power through it.

When they accomplish something that was difficult for them at first it brings such joy to my heart.

They truly love to be in school each day and they make my job exciting. I truly enjoy watching them grow each and every day.

My Project

My students need 3 tablets to help take them beyond the walls of our classroom.

These tablets will be used in varying ways throughout the day.

They will be used to help enrich their day to day learning as well as track and monitor their work.

Students will be able to use these independently as well as in small groups. There are various apps that the children will be able to access to share their work with their parents.
