Help me give my students 18 travel bags, and 18 shooting shirts for our basketball team. The 5 Dribble U Basketballs will be used to improve ball handling.
My boys' basketball players are determined and hard working. They put more into learning the game and developing as basketball players more than most. They are all seventh and eighth graders. They are enthusiastic and energetic. We are in a rural area with no outdoor parks or places to play basketball except in the school setting.
They want to become better basketball players but do not always have the funds to pay for what they need to improve their skills.
School budgets are spread thin with physical education and athletics the last to receive funding.
My Project
My boys' basketball team needs several items to help make their season a big success. School budgets are too small to help fully fund middle school sports. We have to find other ways to supplement our needs of our teams and players.
My team needs travel bags to carry uniforms and shoes to away games each year.
The 18 shooting shirts will be used to keep players warm in cold gyms on long winter nights. These items will be used on every home and away games this coming season.
The 5 Dribble Up basketballs will be used in stations during skill development to help improve ball handling. This is a big skill to improve this season.
