My class is full of personality. We are a Title 1 school in rural Virginia. My students are creative, fun, and full of life!
My students each have unique personalties that bring life to our classroom.
We focus on building a positive classroom community full of respect and kindness. Each day one student is the leader for the day. He/She is responsible for leading the class in all activities. I love teaching students from such a wide variety of backgrounds.
My Project
Kids love to sit in different places! My students work really hard when they get to pick their location. With multiple seating options, my students will be so excited to complete their assignments! I have seen flexible seating work in my classroom before and know it will be a hit with my current students as well. Working from various locations in the room allows for students to remain on task for greater amounts of time because the location is theirs! The student teacher of the day will have a new bean bag chair during carpet time. Each child gets the “job” of the day and they love having a cool seating option. Picking what you sit on is a hit!!!
