My students need a special spot in our classroom to sit and read books. Our new reading nook will have a new alphabet classroom carpet rug and lots of new leveled A-E reading books.
What's more exciting than finding a special spot in a classroom to sit and read your book? I have a class of wonderful and excited kindergarten students. My class consists of second language learners, speech students, and a mix of students who have attended preschool and some who have not.
This year has been a great reading adventure for my five and six year old students.
My students get so excited when they sit down and read a book all by themselves.

My classroom needs a special classroom carpet rug for the students to go to and read...a Reading Nook!
This area will be filled with just right books, including fiction and nonfiction leveled A-E readers. The decorated reading nook will also include a beautiful alphabet classroom carpet rug. My students will be so excited to sit in the Reading Nook and read or share a book with a friend. I am excited about adding this special area to our kindergarten classroom.
