My students need seven tables to encourage our collaborative team skills.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My hardworking students attend a high poverty, Title I school. A majority receive free and reduced lunches. Regardless of the challenges that my students face outside the classroom, in the classroom, we are a family. We support, care, love, and learn as a family. I strongly believe that we can develop confidence to become great learners and future leaders. I want to give my students the materials and support that will help them achieve their highest potential.
My students are compassionate and eager to learn.
Collaborative learning has become a huge part of the 21st century classroom. Group discussion and teamwork are highly encouraged and I love to plan lessons and projects that allow students to work together. Anything from STEM to exploring the depths of Core Literature, we want to dive into every facet and share with each other what can be found. Students will be able to work more collaboratively when gathered around a table. I am requesting 7 new tables to use in my classroom.
Collaborative work is something that prepares students for the future - students will learn the skills to work with other people and further develop their social skills, which are very important for future job skills.
