Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Tiny Tigers are each unique and super special! In our class we have typically developing students and students with special needs. In our classroom, we serve a wide range of developmental and cognitive disabilities. We have bilingual students, ELL students, and monolingual English students. This year my students range from kindergarten to 4th grade.
All of my students are inquisitive and excited to learn about everything from basic living skills to academic skills.
My students range in age from 5-10 years of age, so we have a varied range of abilities in our classroom at all times. Each child in our classroom is part of our community of Tiny Tigers.
My Project
We are asking for the Osmo Genius learning kit and its accessories for our classroom. The Coding Jam, Awbie and Pizza games are captivating for young learners. These games are a great fit for our class since they are designed to adjust to kids aged 5-12 and also adapt to many skill levels. We are asking for the stands and the games, the stand is requires to play the game.
The Osmo learningkit turns core subjects, like math and spelling , into fearless fun!
All of the games encourage visual thinking (Tangram), problem solving (Newton), and creative drawing skills (masterpiece). These learning tools would be an exciting addition to our classroom.
