Help me give my students the technological boost that they need to make educational milestones that will last a lifetime, with four Microsoft Tablets, 4 Microsoft Type Covers, and two Microsoft Docks.

My students are phenomenal. Imagine having a group of students who amaze you in every way. My students are students who are middle school students on the Autism Spectrum. They are eager to learn and show that they are independent. I teach at a K-8 Center. My students are inquisitive, compassionate and creative. As a teacher of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, I understand how technology impacts every aspect of my student’s everyday life.
Technology has proven to assist as a communication device for those who otherwise can’t communicate.
Assistive technology is one of the driving forces in education students on the Autism Spectrum. Using devices like tablets and other hand-held devices are useful tools, because they are flexible and portable AAC devices that often can be heavy and difficult for someone with disabilities to use. The touch screen and layout are more accessible for individuals with coordination or learning difficulties Technology allows for accommodations, adaptability, and motivation.
Most of my students come from economically disadvantage families, as well as impoverished communities. Some of my students do not have access to internet at home. Please help my student continue to technologically move beyond the twenty first century.
The products I have selected for my students are, 4 Microsoft Go Tablets, 4 Microsoft Type Covers, and 2 Microsoft Charging Docks. These devices will assist my students in all of their subject areas as well as with effective communication, visual scheduling, decision making skills, video modeling, social networking, vocational assistance as well as a motivational tool. Microsoft Surface Tables will allow my students to engage with technology they may not have access to in their homes. They will be exposed to higher ordered levels of thinking, and they can assist in the promotion of creativity and aid academic learning. Students will be able to research topics of their interests with the use of Microsoft Tablets and Accessories.
