This year I have a new and amazing class of 23 first grade students! They are enthusiastic and love learning. We are a growing elementary school district that strives to help our diverse learners in every way!
My 23 first graders are living in the 21st Century and love learning through technology!
We read books, dig deep into research, and continue to navigate through each subject using technology. These first graders love to embark on new discoveries every day. What better way to add to their experience than technology?
My Project
My first graders navigate about the room daily through various experiences to enhance their learning. One station in particular is the Chromebook station. Having the capability to enhance each child’s learning more often with technology is a goal in this century. Having more Chromebooks could allow more children those opportunities more often in the classroom. As my students rotate around, it crushes me to think that only a few students will have the opportunity to learn on the Chromebook each day. If there were more devices in my classroom, I would be able to afford those opportunities to touch more students.
