My students are brilliant, curious, and LOVE school. So many of my kids tell me they want to stay longer and do more! They sincerely love to learn and love proving their mastery of subjects. We have been incorporating computer science across all content area and the resources provided from the tablets would be a great addition to our learning.
I have tried my best to provide them with all the support and resources I can afford and I have poured a lot of my own funds into giving them all that they truly deserve!
Many of my kids don't have computers or tablets at home so the resources I have in class are the only ones they get to interact with. They are also truly grateful for everything they are given and they know to be thankful of all they receive.
My Project
We do a lot of group work and partner work. The more hands-on the students are the more the lessons seem to sink in. While doing our project based learning, the students can do some research to go along with our projects. We do not have student computers in our rooms and these tablets will go a long way. The biggest difference these tablets will make is with the students that do not have any Internet or computers at home. One student told me he tries to use his mom's phone but it is too small to really see well. These tablets will change all of that! We are also participating in all new computer science projects and curriculum that these tablets will help us further explore.
