My students come from a diverse population of varying socioeconomic levels. I have a blended VPK class that consists of both general ed students and special needs students. My students are excited to learn new things and are finding their own individual learning styles.
My students realize that even though we are not all alike, together we make a team of active learners, and we all learn in different ways.
My preschoolers are most excited about hands-on learning and the use of our limited technology in the classroom. Their greatest joy is to help each other and share the excitement as they learn new readiness skills.
Tablets in our Pre-K classroom will help the children utilize technology to promote independence, problem solve together, achieve success, and motivate learning. The tablets will assist our littlest learners in many ways. This includes small group instruction, differentiated instruction, guided practice, technology centers, peer collaboration, and documenting their own work with the included cameras.
My preschool students need help integrating the world of technology in the classroom using tablets to stay engaged in various ways.
These tablets will play an integral part of our daily classroom practices, and will definitely assist the various learning abilities that are evident in my classroom. The touchscreen technology will also allow my students who have difficulty controlling a mouse, become more successful in learning and not giving up from frustration.
Tablets in our Pre-K classroom will help promote future educational successes with excitement and enthusiasm. Our littlest learners will be prepared for future encounters using technology as they enter Kindergarten and move forward in today's world.
