My Students

My class is a day treatment program, where students with IEPs and behavioral issues come to learn how to thrive in the regular classroom. Unlike other schools, our program runs all summer long. The students are amazing, and just need to feel wanted! Our classroom does not have a lot of technology, but I would love to incorporate it into our daily routine. We also are lacking in music and hands on resources. The more I can add to the class, the more the students will enjoy being in school.

My Project

Right now I have students all year long, even during the summer. We have 7 students, and only 3 computers. IT would be nice to add the tablets into their technology routines (math and language). Our program has very little curriculum, so using a computer or tablet is key in making sure that they learn the standards.

Please help me to make this experience a good one for my students, while also showing them that is school is an awesome place to be!

I strive everyday to create a warm, welcoming, and up to date environment. My students will be so excited if this project gets funded!
