Help me give my students tablets in the classroom to increase student engagement, reading comprehension, math fluency, and bridge the technology gap in our district.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
I am a teacher in a low-income school district. As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best.
I teach learning support/emotional support, and my students will truly benefit from different resources and materials in the classroom.
There is not enough money in the budget to fund all of these resources. My students want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day. I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
My students need tablets in the classroom to increase student engagement, reading comprehension, math fluency and provide a source of targeted interventions for them to learn. These tablets will also be a great tool to bridge the technology gap many students face in our district. The tablets would be very beneficial for the instruction in my classroom.
My students can use these tablets in a variety of ways to enhance their learning!
During instruction, students will be able to use them to take notes or work problems for practice. My students will also use the tablets in small group meetings where they are more engaged and do the most learning!
Technology will not only help me to create a fun learning environment, but it will also help provide students with the skills they need for future success. Having the resources we need in the classroom is very important to me and to my students!
