Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

As a teacher in a school that has students in poverty, my students are faced with challenges in and out of the classroom. I want to be able to provide my students with materials that will help them learn and grow.

Pre-K students love to learn and watching them grasp new concepts is my favorite part about teaching.

These students are so fun, creative, silly, and smart. I want my students to walk in the classroom and know that they will have the materials they need to learn.

My Project

One of my teaching goals is to bring more technology into my classroom and to help students meet their learning goals by practicing their goals using the tablets.

My students are always asking to play on the teacher tablet that we use for small group.

My students love technology and by giving them more access to these devices it will encourage them to continue to meet their learning goals.

The devices will allow them to continue to learn math and literacy skills, which are very important in a Pre-K classroom. The devices will help them engage in learning while having fun with technology.
