I have 19 amazing students, many of which come from various cultural backgrounds creating a truly unique and diverse classroom.
Many of my students lack access to technology in the home which motivates us to provide these tools for our students even more.
This way students are able to access technology when they otherwise could not.
We learn collaboratively in our second grade classroom. Students enjoy working together and learning from each other. By working collaboratively with Fire tablets, students will be more engaged in the learning process.
My Project
My second grade students will be using the Fire tablets and headphones to improve Literacy and Math skills. Students will be using the tablets for Literacy and Math centers, research projects, cursive handwriting, and to improve typing skills. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of technology in an engaging way.
Students will work collaboratively with peers to problem solve and become more tech savvy which is needed for success in our ever-changing world.
