Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I tell them every day that "Today is a great day to have a great day". I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything.
I teach at a Title I school in Georgia where 97% of my students receive free or reduced breakfast and lunch every day.
Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.
My Project
We love to use technology, which includes tablets, in our classroom daily. Some ways we use tablets are to research topics, watch educational videos, make slide shows, take pictures, make power points, play educational games, post discussion boards and use educational computer programs in Reading, Math, Science & Social Studies. Unfortunately, many of my students do not have access to computers or tablets at home. School is their only opportunity to learn electronically. Any donation to our project would be going directly to helping my awesome students enrich their learning every day. Thank you very much for making some awesome students very happy!
