Our classroom is filled with eager learners who enjoy hands-on learning opportunities. They also love 'new' things - the novelty of new learning tools keeps them interested in the sometimes challenging kindergarten content.
These tools will help engage students in their academics with a focus on writing.
The three tablets will let students practice their literacy and mathematics skills during small group instruction. Moreover, these devices will be engaging and allow students to access content at their independent learning level.
The Expo markers, copy paper, and spiral notebooks will give children the opportunity to practice their writing skills. We use whiteboards on a daily basis so the Expo markers are needed greatly! Additionally, students benefit from practicing their new skills on worksheets which is how we will utilize the copy paper. Finally, the spiral notebooks are a perfect place for students to keep their writing responses organized and in one place!
