This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, fun, and have a love of the visual arts! Your gift of table easels and art supplies would increase their capacity to express themselves, build community, and make our school more beautiful. Tools like easels and "fancy" art supplies help students feel more like "real artists."

These particular table easels will be used by hundreds of students for years to come.

Additionally, they can be used for staff, family, and community paint nights, and displaying art. This project is truly a contribution to our entire student body, inside and outside of the art classroom.

My Project

When students get to use art supplies like this they feel like "real artists." Students are more engaged and feel more confident. Art is all about problem solving, and tools like these help students feel excited to tackle a new art project.

We will use these easels to learn how to paint on canvas and paper in art class.

Additionally they can be used in art club, community, and teacher paint lessons.

Clip boards can be used on easels and for outdoor art lessons. Students can attach paper to a large art clip board and take them in our school garden to make science observations, or draw things they see outside.
