Help me give my students a new tablet to access occupational therapy/ writing apps. Several of my students in the past and future have struggled with writing so they could use a Tablet to complete their daily assignments.
Our school strives to find the leader in all students. Every child has capabilities, talents, and strengths; sometimes, all it takes is exposure or motivation. The students in my class all work very hard no matter what their disabilities are.
My class consists of ten diverse and amazing students.
The students in my classroom are such an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and goals. Some of my students are learning to read, write, and count, while some of their classmates are learning to imitate sounds or hold a paintbrush. Our group loves to play outside, learn new games, and continue to work on our daily living skills.
My Project
My students come from all kinds of culturally diverse households where often technology is used as a reward. Therefore, my students are more likely to work if technology is involved.
Many of my students receive different related services due to their disabilities, but with the appropriate tools all students will be able to learn and master new skills, and find other ways to speak or write if they are not able to like other students.
My students currently have two tablets and with the use of another one then they will have more access to utilize their needs. We currently use the tablets in centers and have to closely monitor the times in order for all ten students to be able to use them all.
